Mace Spoose and other spoofs
Over the years, a number of cartoonists (and one non-cartoonist) have spoofed Space Moose. What follows is a listing of all the knock-offs that I know of, plus a few spoofs that I have made of other people's cartoons.
Every December The Gateway mocks itself with an annual spoof issue called The Getaway. Traditionally, the cartoonists all swap places and create perverse versions of each others' strips. Here are all the bastardized versions of Space Moose:
I have also participated in the gay lampoonery of The Getaway. The following three strips were drawn by me. The first is based on the comic strip Phlegm that Jason Kapalka moved on to after quitting Space Moose. For the record, the artwork in my version is on par with the real strip (but not the ones that Jason drew).

A few years ago I had the opportunity to draw a spoof of Life in Hell for one of the Gateway's joke issues, so I made this dream episode of "Akbar and Jeff".
